Daruna - Bloodwater Marsh

Introduction

This evil fen is named for both the deadly nature of its twisted waterways and the reddish tint of the many springs and pools that feed it. Despite its dangerous reputation, herbalists and hunters ply the marsh in search of the many rare plants and animals found nowhere else in the known world. In particular the warm springs of Bloodwater are the sole source of the Ahgatha Root, a plant with strong medicinal properties. The gnarled and twisted wood of the Cholat Tree, treasured by wood carvers and alchemists alike, is also found within the Marsh.
